Purpose: To provide an open forum for young people, workers, government, regional representatives and other interested parties, to interact and improve pathways for young people within Bundaberg and District. Operating Principles: Promote effective collaboration within the sector, Provide a mechanism for support within a respectful environment, Develop creative solutions in an interactive manner. Community Employment Options Inc (Get Set for Work)
Get Set for Work is a program for 15-17year old disengaged from school or at risk of disengaging. The Program delivers accredited 'work and life skills' training, and assists participants to enter the workforce or formal training. CQUniversity (Student Support Centre)
Counselling and support are provided to students on any issues that are affecting their ability to study such as low motivation, anxiety, stress, depression, mental health issues, relationship issues, and grief and loss. Individually, or in groups, assistance is available on time management, exam preparation, revision, reading and note taking skills, procrastination and handling stress. Equity/disability Information, as well as support and advice are provided to students on equity matters and provide some financial assistance for students on low income (conditions apply). The Careers and Employment Service within CQUniversity Student Support Centre offers Career Planning to all prospective and current students. We offer a range of resources and guidance to assist in career development and graduate employment.

IMPACT Make Your Mark - Positive Start Parenting Program
Free service for young mothers and expectant mums aged 15-24 whose children are under pre-school age (eligibility criteria applies) and who identify the need for parenting assistance. We provide a safe, comfortable child-friendly environment for mums and their children. Providing one-to-one support, developing parenting techniques, linking into other community services, mentoring service, individual and group activities, practical hands-on approach to parenting. PODS stands for ‘Providing Opportunities through Day Services’. This program is developed to help young adults (18-24 years old) with a disability. Open Doors Youth Service
Supports 12-18 year olds who are exploring, questioning or identifying as 'lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender and their families. Works with youth who are feeling isolated or confused, homeless, or are at risk of homelessness along with their families and support networks. Peirson Services Bundaberg
Child & Youth Counselling: Counselling, support, advocacy and mediation for children and young people up to 17 years of age who are at risk or in crisis and subject to statutory involvement by the Dept of Child Safety. Parent/Caregiver Support: Parent Education in all aspects of parenting including drug education, general parenting skills, general counselling designed to equip parents and caregivers to effectively and appropriately care for their children. This function is funded by the Dept of Child Safety and priority is given to Dept of Child Safety clients. Waarvah Programme - Waarvah is a crime prevention, early intervention programme for indigenous male youth from 10-17 years of age. This programme focuses on restoring cultural values, practices and standards as part of rebuilding the young persons identity as a proud indigenous person. This programme is funded by the Dept of Communities.

Phoenix House Association Inc
Phoenix House offers a comprehensive, integrated service which: Provides a safe, supportive, women-centered programme for adult women who have been sexually assaulted, either recently or in the past; Provides a child centered and family focused programme for children and young people who have been sexually and/or physically abused, and support for non-offending family members and carers. Saint Vincent De Paul Society, Bundaberg
The St Vincent de Paul Society has been helping Queenslanders in need since 1894. Every day the Society's 8,000 volunteers and members help those who are struggling to take control of their lives whilst restoring their dignity; providing a hand up, not just a hand out. Young adult volunteers are a unique group of young people who are willing to share their precious time and skills with people in the community and in overseas aid. The Society runs youth based activities and has had particular success running Buddies Days monthly, with the assistance of Bundaberg youth, to assist marginalized families.

School Based Youth Health Program - Community Family Health
High Schools are provided with a School Based Youth Health Nurse (SBYHN). The youth health nurse provides confidential health consultations for students, parents, school staff, community members, and refer clients to other health and welfare professionals as appropriate; supports the school’s health and physical education program development; supports planning and implementation of health promotion strategies; facilitates community development; supports students and staff on a range of health issues relevant to young people, including facilitating teacher in-service health programs; provides advice and information about health education resources including relevant Queensland Health programs.

The Salvation Army (Get Set For Work)
Get Set For Work assists young people aged 15-17 who have disengaged from school or are at high risk of dinengaging. The intended outcome for young people is obtaining employment, further training or returning to school. Tom Quinn Community Centre
The Centre was developed to support people who have been through a) substance and alcohol abuse rehabilitation and b) youth at risk. Youth Accessing Knowledge - Yak Programs - Youth Services Bundaberg
Youth Programs, Youth Management Team and Drop In Centre provides assistance to young people all ages in interactive, alternate educational programs run by young people for young people and Volunteer Trainers who meet the suitability requirements for working with young people. After school activities and school holiday programs, YAKtivity events to assist young people wishing to participate in Training & Development, arts, team building, Leadership and Mentoring programs, music workshops, citizenship and community projects. Young people and their families accessing and leading the service represent the diversity of the local area and the unmet needs identified by young people in the Bundaberg & surrounding district. Overseen by Youth workers this model provides a safe, supported and supervised environment and will assist with referrals through a collaborative approach and community networking perspective. Youth Accommodation - Youth Services Bundaberg
Youth Accommodation - 16 to 24years. Must be registered with Dept. of Housing First. Youth Workers can assist in this process. YSB provides affordable, partly furnished, one bedroom unit accommodation: long term – up to 12 months or more for young people unable to access accommodation through usual rental market schemes. Youth workers assist young people who are earning or learning to access other services and support on the pathway to more independent living. This service is aimed to provide safe and supported accommodation for young people who are aged between 16 and 25 years of age. RTA model followed. Not crisis accommodation. Youth Insearch is a unique voluntary Community Organisation for young people who come from varying social and cultural backgrounds. It has no religious or political affiliations. The program recognises that unresolved issues in a young person's life can lead to antisocial and self destructive behaviour that affect them, their family, teachers and friends. Youth Insearch focuses on young people supporting young people. It utilises the experience of trained young people supporting and guiding other young people. They are supported by professional trained supportive adults as their guides and mentors.
