60 & Better Program - YMCA Bundaberg
The 60 and Better Program is designed for anyone over 50 that is wanting to engage in a range of activities such as Aerobic Classes, Weight Classes, Walk in Water Classes, Cards, Ten Pen Bowling, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Walking Groups, Lunch and Morning Tea Clubs. Costs are reduced for seniors to make the experience affordable for all to attend.

Bundaberg Quilters Inc.
Bundaberg Quilters is a very active group with some 180 members of all ages. Apart from providing an environment for social activity and friendship, the group promotes the craft of patchwork and quilting. Meetings are Tuesdays from 10.0am - 3.00pm, 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights from 7.00pm - 9.00pm, with a monthly general meeting on 4th Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm. Joining fee is $5 and an annual membership is $25. The group produces a monthly informative newsletter and provides a comprehensive library for borrowings by members. Workshops and classes are held regularly. The group plans many social activities throughout the year.

Davarni Coaching and Associates "Time for Mum"
Time for mom-Me:5 Essential Strategies for A Mother's Self care is a system that encourages mothers to focus on five core areas of their lives. We understand that when moms take better care of themselves, they are better mothers. Through our easy and fun guided exercises we encourage mothers to discuss the following: Personal Growth Finding Time Finding Meaning Finding Connection Finding Solution's The Time for mom system is supported by a trained facilitator, a self-care program with guided exercises and a social online network that encourages mothers to share their best self-care resources. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment that allows mothers to learn from one another. The goal is to make the journey of motherhood a little easier. The teleclasses will run in blocks of 6. The first class will run for 30 minutes and the following classes will run for approx 45 minutes to 1 hour. The classes will be held every fortnight, with email contact in between so that mums can stay in touch.

Dewachen Buddhist Study Group
A study group for meditation, reading and discussion of Tibetan Buddhist teachings. Plus occasional courses and talks given by Ven. Tenzin Namdag, a western Nun in the tradition of The Dalai Lama. The study group is a branch of Dewachen Buddhist Study Group in Mackay and the international organisation Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT).

Our Purpose: To work in partnership to increase opportunities for the broader Bundaberg community to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviours. HeartStart
HEARTStart is a health promotion, chronic disease prevention and cardiac recovery program to help people toward a healthier life. Services include (1) health information/education on heart health, blood pressure, cholesterol, exercise, reducing risk factors for chronic disease, healthy eating, food and nutrition; (2) HEARTStart education series and (3) Track walking, advanced walking and fitness training exercise sessions. HEARTStart health education sessions are held during mid-year months. Information is available from HEARTStart. Track walking sessions based on exercise physiology principles are conducted Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's at our walking track in Thornhill Street, North Bundaberg. Contact the Program Manager to participate in HeartStart programs or for more details about any HeartStart services..
