The Baldwin Swamp Artists meet each Wednesday in the shelter shed at Baldwin Swamp to paint and exchange ideas and discuss art. There are currently around 30 people attending and this number fluctuates with school holidays and other commitments. The artists paint in many styles and mediums and are helpful to each other. There are no formal lessons, but occasionally demonstrations are conducted by different artists. No fees are involved and everyone is welcome.

The Bundaberg Players Incorporated is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation which has been providing live amateur theatre to the residents of the Bundaberg region since 1951. Approximately six productions are performed each year and may include musical, theatre restaurant, comedy, drama, pantomime, revue, or performances by our very active Youth Theatre. The Playhouse Theatre boasts a comfortable, tiered auditorium which seats 242 patrons and it is utilised by a number of local performance-based organisations for concerts and presentations.

Bundaberg Quilters is a very active group with some 180 members of all ages. Apart from providing an environment for social activity and friendship, the group promotes the craft of patchwork and quilting. Meetings are Tuesdays from 10.0am - 3.00pm, 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights from 7.00pm - 9.00pm, with a monthly general meeting on 4th Saturday afternoon from 1.30pm. Joining fee is $5 and an annual membership is $25. The group produces a monthly informative newsletter and provides a comprehensive library for borrowings by members. Workshops and classes are held regularly. The group plans many social activities throughout the year.

The Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery is the hub for arts in Bundaberg and surrounding districts. The Gallery shows a diverse range of exhibitions including local and travelling state and national exhibitions in its three exhibition spaces. The Gallery Gift Shop stocks local arts and crafts, ideal souvenirs for our many visitors. A wide variety of public programs are offered including artist talks, workshops, school holiday programs, guided tours and special events. Enjoy the Gallery’s library and browse through books relating to the current exhibitions. Children can also have fun in the Kidz Corner with changing activities.
