Approved personal care services will become fully funded by the Australian Government, meaning customers will no longer pay a contribution towards those services, as long as personal care is included in their support plan and they have available Support at Home funding

Clinical nursing at home is about much more than completing a medical check and leaving. 

Our nurses take time to understand the whole person including their health, daily routines, goals, home environment and the people involved in supporting them. 

We work alongside the customer, their family, GP, allied health professionals and other members of their care team to develop nursing support around their individual needs.

For older people who want to remain at home towards the end of their life, the Support at Home End of Life Pathway may provide additional short term funding for care and support at home. The pathway is for eligible older people who are assessed as having three months or less to live and wish to remain at home. Around $25,000 in funding is available over a 12 week period, with the funding able to be used for up to 16 weeks where funds remain.   

Supported Independent Living is a very personal type of support.
